Ashdown forest

Mr U&L had an appointment at the Queen Victoria hospital in East Grinstead today so I took the opportunity to visit Old Lodge nature reserve on Ashdown Forest. 
Sadly nothing much was out at all and it was extremely soggy underfoot even along the upper paths,
And to add insult to injury you now have to pay for parking!! no ticket machines - just the Ringo app! what I wonder would you do if you didn't have a smart phone?
