the Kings Gas Light

we decided to take a trip to London today as the trains will be on strike tomorrow . Our son suggested we got some photographs of the Gas lamp that had been painted in in gold leaf to commemorate the Kings coronation. It was done by British Gas who maintain all the gas lamps in London of which there are quite a few. All the ones by Buckingham Palace are gas as the late queen did not want them converted to electric. A crown has been placed on top of this one. I understand it will remain for two weeks then be removed. 
once home I planted my rainbow chard and did some weeding. 
We have seen no rain all day
