Tweeting to the Liverbird!

This is one of the Soloveiko or songbirds from Ukraine.  This one is from Kharkiv, the second largest city of Ukraine.  

The day started getting the girls and us ready to go out together! First hiccup: arrive at school without the school bags.  Ro heads home while I take the girls in! 

We carry on to Liverpool and park in the Ibis car park.  No problem and head off across the street to the Eurovision arena where we had seats to see the rehearsal to tonight’s semifinal. It was really interesting to see how it’s all done!  All for the TV audience.  The changes of sets were so fast!  We had good seats just behind the area where the contestants sit once they’ve finished playing.  

After the rehearsal booked into the hotel then we wandered round Liverpool to see everything.  The songbirds etc.  We didn’t actually go into the village but ended up in Liverpool 1 at Wagamamas for a meal.  
Now we’ve been watching the real semifinal on Tv! 
A really good day.
