Crow fishing

Yesterday I noticed that a crow seemed to be taking a lot of drinks from the pond, but then I had another thought.  I asked online "Do crows eat tadpoles?", and the answer was yes.  This morning, the crow was there again, and there seemed to be lots of tadpoles coming to the surface, so I decided to put some net over the pond.  It's rather an improvised setup, because there have to be ways for frogs to get in and out, but it does seem to have had the desired effect.
