Red and sodden, mini rant.

Just finished cleaning the outside of the caravan. In spite of a waterproof jacket, my old 'odd job jumper' was sodden.
Hose pipes seem to have a natural antipathy towards humans, they will get stuck around or behind any object, no matter how unlikely and despite being on a reel, they get kinked just laying on the ground. As for connectors, why do they always leak (usually up your sleeve), and they never match. I have three different attachments for the hose, all requiring a different fitting which of course is never to hand.
