Hexam Abbey

I went to an organ recital. It made me realise I don't like organ music. I sneaked out after 15 minutes. 

The Abbey had an exhibition of 48 wedding dresses some modern and some from years ago. It was very interesting.  Guessing  the date of each dress and how much it cost was very entertaining  for me and my friends. The dress on the left is from the eighteen hundreds. The guide told us it was Esme Young's favourite. (She is a judge on the Great British Sewing Bee) . The dress in the middle is 2022 and the one on the right was 1988 I think. They are mother and daughter and the daughter wore the mother's train. The daughters dress was made sustainably.  Overall an enjoyable day.
