Another Birthday

88 this time. The day once a year when a little self indulgence is permitted.

As my long term followers will know I have a birthday ritual. Every year for the past 16 years ( ever since amazing brain surgery gave me the power to walk again ) I have walked from our front door to the top of Arnside Knott.  Today it was perfect weather for my endeavour. Proof is in the extras. It took 5 minutes longer than last year. 

Now I am enjoying cake and sitting thinking how fortunate I have been.
