The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner

This story and film was one the great 1960's films, part of the angry young men era.. and I think is a bit of a lost masterpiece...the way of the runner is always alone, battling the demons that slow them down, and plead for you to stop...

I am not a fast or long runner, and my pace can be only explained as almost glacial, but this will remind me when I look back, and remember that I actually did it !:-)
