Walking in the rain....

it got me today! Headed out for a wander this morning to see what was going on by the creek, and halfway through the walk the rain started to fall so I was already wet so carried on!  That meant I was treated to a lovely display of swallows overhead as well as these lovely tufted ducks swimming on by!

Also spotted pochard, shelduck, 3 egrets, skylarks, reed bunting and a tatty looking speckled wood butterfly!

Clothes are now still drying out so the housework is being attacked while waiting for the Sainsbury food delivery.  Mum and Dad had the opticians this morning ... never a cheap visit anymore!!
