Superb Owl news...

I'm speaking at a Conference in Surrey this weekend, l-o-n-g drive. So lots of chores and catching up today including testing the new mower (it passed, very easy to use).
Thought I'd pop round to say bye to the little chap as I think he'll fly away soon. Found him back on the wall. As ever I kept an eye out for mum & dad who could be protective. And that was when I found him.... Big Brother perched up in the tree. For the last week we've thought he'd perished, the cruel reality of nature, but turns out he's taken to the trees, which is the "branching" I wrote about earlier in the week. I think he's probably managed to stay in the trees as he's clearly bigger and more developed than his smaller sibling.
Now for a six hour drive....
