A surprise this morning

A grey day but some bright bits!  Colder and windy.

This morning I was up early, did some housework, spoke to my friend who had a lovely day out with her daughter yesterday.  I then made some cheese scones and another friend came for coffee and scones later and left at lunchtime!  Had another cheese scone with tomato, pepper and apple for lunch.  This afternoon I made two cakes, pineapple and cherry loaf cake plus a ginger marmalade teabread.  Also took photos some this morning and some this afternoon, this was my favourite.
