Refreshed

It came as a complete shock to wake up this morning and find it had rained overnight, for the first time since February. I really was not expecting that. It was still overcast when I set out for yoga, and the class was hot and steamy. Amaya said the sky must be pleased with us when it suddenly rained torrentially for 10 minutes mid-class. Although when I got home, five minutes' drive up the road, it hadn't rained at all there ...

We bought a 10-session card for the spa back in February, valid for a year, and have been just once because the weather has been too good. So we thought we'd better take advantage of the cloudy day and use another two slots. 4 pm on a Friday was a good time to choose -- there were only two other people there. So we spent an hour rotating between pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, and floating lemons. By the time we came out it was still cloudy, but warm enough to sit by the outdoor pool and have a drink during happy hour.

Then we went and did a big shop in Mercadona for guests on Sunday. The forecast claims it's going to rain ... I hope not, because we invited a lot of people on the assumption that we could eat on the terrace. Can't quite believe we could be rained off! It's a nice sunny evening now.
