Louise

Two days ago I was at the student concert of Louise Donker (pictured), a good friend with whom I played in a band years ago. She teaches singing at the music school and has her students give concerts three times a year at Paradox, a jazz venue here in town. It was a good evening.

Today, for the first time in a long time, I did very little. I did edit a lot of photos, but also worked in the garden, made music and watched a bit of Youtube videos. That seems like a lot, but it's actually very relaxing.

After dinner, we fixed our summer holiday: three weeks of hiking through the mountains in Wales and England. In between, I have to work four days with Close Act in Great Yarmouth, so we adjusted our holiday accordingly.

We last celebrated our summer holidays there in 2017, and spent most of our time in Scotland (find the trip here).
Last January, we spent a few days in London) which was also nice. We are starting to get to know the country better and better.

Anyway, up early tomorrow because we're going to a birthday party in Capelle aan de IJssel, near Rotterdam.
