Run!

This mumbled her babies were so sweet this morning. With all the rain the grass is pretty sogging so lots of birds were mooching on the field.

Some heartbreaking news this morning. It was reported in the local press that a dog had killed a Swan leaving her eggs to die. I hoped it wasn't my swan family. But both this morning and afternoon the nest was empty of mum and just the unattended eggs. Oh what a shame. I bet the dog owner is mortified. I will miss watching my little Swan family grow.
