First dragon of the year!

We just don't know what it is!

We have decided it's not a southern hawker from the description that this website gives, so does anyone have a clue?

Anywho, we found this at Stodmarsh. Love that place, it's beautiful. I thoroughly recommend it to everyone that lives in Kent!

Saw lots of damselflies but this was the only dragonfly we came across. Saw some beautiful butterflies too but only managed one decent shot of one kind. I was after one that was cream with orange tips but it flew off as I was focusing! Never mind!

Going to buy some ID books from Waterstones tomorrow before work, I think it's a definite must-have for us this year.
