Leeds Liverpool Canal

Last night a friend asked me if I had any plans for today and whether I fancied lunch and a walk. Sounded a great idea! 

We went to a new galley and cafe, that opened three years ago. She had discovered it recently but I hadn't known about it. We had a lovely special light lunch and then a look around the gallery. We then went off for a walk along the canal, which ended up being twice as long as she had planned. Thankfully there was a pub in the next village before we had to walk back. It has been a glorious day. 

It's the furthest I've walked since before I had covid (even since before Easter). I was struggling with it but I am sure it did me good.
