Perfectly simple

Today we have had a perfectly lovely family day. We all had a lovely lie in, then headed out in the garden. I cut the grass and Steve and Amelie washed the car. We all sat in the garden for a bit, then we had some brunch. Kippers, smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Then we've all been doing our own thing. Steve done some studying, Amelie played in the garden, I done some washing, my Dad popped over for a bit, and it's been just so nice.
The perfect weekend before the madness of the week ahead!
