Allium

I've got the post-Cumbria Blip Blues. Completely lacking in inspiration added to the fact that I cant use my main camera till it's fixed.

This is an emergency flower blip and quite tricky as it's really windy and needed a fast shutter speed. Luckily, the NEX-6 is very easy to use in manual mode.

These Alliums are beautiful this year. I considered cutting one and bringing it inside out of the wind but felt it would look better in situ.

I'm taking my 5D down to the Canon repair centre in Elstree tomorrow. I can combine it with a visit to see my mother who is in a nursing home not far away.
