Campsie view

It was a beautiful afternoon for a walk, so I set off along the Fintry road thinking this may well be my last walk on this route before I move.

On the way back, as I passed this spot, where the owner had set up an open tent and bench and was sitting chatting with two friends, she invited me to join them and have some baking and a glass of fizz! 

I was surprised, but she explained that she was celebrating the hut's 6th birthday, so I was delighted to join them and have a cream scone with some fizz over a chat. As I left, another passer-by was being invited in. 

It was such a lovely gesture, but unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo.
