Lennon at the NMA

Rode the bike up to the NMA, Alrewas (near Lichfield), with Lennon as pillion. He is such a good passenger, I forget he's there! It was really good to spend some time with him, we had a good walk around a lot of the monuments & memorials, discussing some of them and telling him about my time in the service. I photographed him beside the RAF Police monument for Julia, as she is RAF Police.
Today's ride was for the Royal British Legion Riders Branch Memorial Run. Once a year we gather at 'The Wall' (Armed Forces Memorial) to pay tribute to those riders that have been lost over the past 12 months.
It's also a good time to reunite with old friends and colleagues as riders come from all corners of the UK, including Northern Ireland. Makes my 180 mile round trip look a bit insignificant!
