Ladies outing

I woke up too late for the Arundel lido morning slot due to too much middle of the night wakefulness. This annoyed me, next week I shall set an alarm.

Read my book in bed instead, can’t decide if half way is enough and I might be able to stop reading it. Apparently I’m soldiering on.

Nice walk with Rosie, half of my Italian homework and then a fine outing with Catriona to two plant nurseries. This was our view in the second as we sat down to enjoy a pear juice from the shop. First time I had been to that one, it was delightful. I bought two unknown squashes 50p - it won’t matter, the snails will just eat them anyway. And I bought, obvs, a load of stuff that wasn’t 50p. And I left three blunt kitchen knives there waiting for the knife sharpening man to come back off his holidays and sharpen them for me. I haven’t used two of those knives for about 15 years since the kitchen shop round the corner closed down.

Then I sat in the sunny garden, went for a bloody lovely start of the summer swim in the sea, left my friends on the beach with their beer and went with Will to see Mike Wozniak. V funny, a good night. A good day all round tbh.
