The Art Project

Havana, Day Three.

Today, we enjoyed a performance and talk by Alberto Fayo, renowned composer, singer, guitarist and educator.  Afterwards, we enjoyed a city tour in some of the old American vintage cars.  We then went to The Art Project, an art studio for physical, social and mental disabilities to express themselves through art.  Pictured here are Enrico and Jesus working on their projects.  After lunch, we visited two of the famous Havana plazas and learned of their history.  Shoppers (including Gina) visited the large market housed in an old port warehouse.  Dinner this evening included a concert by one of the three professional female choirs, followed by a Buena Vista era band, with dancing.  A busy day.  See extras for the  rest of the story.
