Rapisoty In The Rain

We put a big.'ole hunk of beef on the smoker this morning.  The sky was cloudy with a little breeze when we started but it didn't hold.
     The smoker didn't seem to mind being rained on but the box its sitting on was never coated to protect it from foul weather.  I guess I figured we'd only ever use it during good weather.  
   Silly me.
