On our lake. This is the deepest of all lakes in the area, so the eugene diving club and store come here every Saturday, rain or shine. I regret that I didn’t get the Padi certificate 23 years ago while in Australia.
But I panicked the moment I realized that I had 30 feet of water above my head. The teacher took me by my hand and safely brought me back to shore. I am forever grateful for the try out and all the beauty I saw under water.
