Back to chill today and the north wind. I hope the weekend wasn't summer.

Quiet today. A holiday, or not. A bank holiday but not a Scottish or Edinburgh holiday. The banks, the PO and even some of the tartan tat shops were shut. Our colleagues in London were off and there was no sign of the guys next door. The buses were on Saturday service but the schools weren't off and we were working.

It was very quiet though.

#2 son is coming up this evening for his birthday meal. I should have bought cake!
