……………….....…..Resting Place
Derelict and snuggled into someone’s garden as a rustic feature. Perhaps it holds memories and it is a sentimental keepsake!
We had taken a slight detour on our way home this afternoon and discovered this treasure.
Today, New Zealand celebrated Mother’s Day. We spent time with both mothers who live in different areas in this region, and spoke to both our children who live further afield.
A very big thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s small cluster of monarch butterflies in ‘over wintering’ survival mode. As the temperature drops they cluster together with wings firmly closed to preserve heat. Finding a tree during the winter full of monarchs over-wintering is a magical sight. These three had been moved from inside in preparation to flying free and finding fellow butterflies to hopefully survive winter.
