Shire Hill - cuckoo

Walked from home to Old Glossop then Pyegrove on to Shire Hill for a North side circuit.

Cuckoo was nearby for a while but must have flown back across the valley as it could then only just be heard.

Writing this a few days later I was badly affected by the Birch Tree pollen and still feel poorly now.
