Ragged Robin

Amazon delivered the very low foot stool id ordered, and neghbour came over to screw on the leg for me. The stool was not for my feet, but to sit upon.
I had realised that many of the raised beds here were at a height too low for my wheelchair hence the  footstool. So long as i can transfer!!
I wont bore you with those details. Suffice to say, doable but messy. Once in place however, a great height to shoot flowers from.
The ragged Robin above, was shot with me sat on the footstool with a vintage super Takumar 55mm manual focus 2:2 attached and at minimum focus distance (30cm)
It is clear to see  i was at eye level thanks to the stool.
I realise that many of you can simply walk up and crouch down. A luxury i know longer have.
Ingenuity, thought & bloody-mindedness have replaced being upwardly-mobile
