Charlecote park
Here is a photo of the weir on the river Avon. B and I sat on the bank of the river to see if we could spot a kingfisher. No luck there but we did see a couple of herons doing a courtship display. We saw house Martins and some of their nests with tiny baby bird beaks poking out. We saw geese and ducks. Mayfly and tortoise shell butterflies and a brimstone butterfly. A few swallows and of course some deer. It was a beautiful sunny day.
Later ,,. I took Sid and Pierce for a walk round the lake at the farm.
