The View From The Other Side

In the past month or so, I've become addicted to a TV series that aired on TV from 2003 to 2012.  It's called One Tree Hill and the thing that sparked my interest was that it was filmed here in Wilmington, NC.  It's about teenagers growing up in a pretty affluent community though they are not all from wealthy families. There's lots of basketball (also a familiar theme) and pretty young faces making their way. In the 4th season, they graduate from high school and it's interesting to see how they navigate. I found out recently that many of the places they filmed have been preserved and memorialized - some of the characters still have an active Instagram following. This spot was the site of an outdoor basketball court where many memorable moments took place. There's a pavilion with lots of "words of wisdom" presumably from the cast and others.  One is in Extra.
