Criminal Masterminds assemble!

The final event of CrimeFest in Bristol is Criminal Mastermind, in which four crime writers answer questions on their chosen specialist subjects and general crime fiction knowledge.

I was invited back to defend my title from last year, this time competing against Paul Gitsham, Zoe Sharp and Ely Griffiths. I was third after the specialist round but surged in the general round to grab the win by a single point.

Having won twice, I’m now exempt from taking part again - phew!
