Has summer arrived?

After a chilly start the sun came out during the morning and the temperature quickly rose.
I did quite a bit of work at the allotment, including planting runner beans,  and went to the plant sale there but did not buy anything, or take any photos! The weeds have grown so well…lots still need to be removed.

We had the family to lunch and this afternoon I took Libby for a dog walk and went down to the river…it was so busy today. Paddle boarders, canoeists, rowers as well as several motorboats and the ‘Go’ electric hire boats from Kingston. I was surprised to see some people stripped off and ‘sunbathing’ like the chap on this boat. Not hot enough for me to wear shorts!

Let’s hope it’s warm again tomorrow.
