Mr. Goldfinch

Both Mr. and Mrs. were out on the rail but by the time I fetched my camera she had flown. I've had a Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal too which is really neat. They don't usually hang around but I haven't gotten to take their picture.
I saw another bittern as I drove by the long pond on Friday. He was standing there by the extra little pool with his head stuck straight up. What a year for bittern sightings!
More garden clean up today and a little planting of seeds. We have an extra choir practice at 4:30 to get ready for the concert so this is an early blip.
