First to open

The iris that I blipped four days ago as a pencil-point bud is now the first of the group to open. I've spotted other irises around the garden that are clearly different species. It's so exciting seeing the garden unfold - it is certainly well stocked. Shall be sharing more beauties in the near future. 

Today I have baked a cake, done a pile of ironing and spent all afternoon gardening. I think this means I'm on the mend. Still coughing, though! Grrr.
