Lavender Lilacs …

… very light, to be sure, under a second-story roof, passed on our street on this afternoon’s round-the-block walk.

Earlier we made one of our regular outings to Trader Joe’s, across the river in Hadley. It’s always pleasant shopping there—much smaller than Stop & Shop, and very convivial :) As I think I’ve mentioned before I especially appreciate their breakfast cereals.
