Mothers’ Day Morning

A clear fine early morning. Crisp, with frost on the ground in some places. The river is flowing, as seen here downstream at the Burleigh Bridge. Mothers’ Day is being celebrated throughout the country. I had messages from my own family, some very amusing ones. My offspring have wicked senses of humor. Good friend Cathie invited me for lunch. Home made Mince pies… yummy. I visited Dawn who is pleased to hear that her little dog Bronson is settling in well with his new owner . Sadly Dawn has some health issues at present which had prevented her from walking Bronson.
