I Couldn’t Have Been Happier

I met Lucy for a dog walk this morning, Dylan loved it as there were 4 boisterous dogs to play with. It stayed dry but started with some grey and stormy looking skies especially against the yellow rapeseed flowers before the sun finally came out.

I headed to the yard to work Jack and had planned on walking him in hand with Alison riding Billy, but she persuaded me to put a saddle on and ride him.

It was the first time he’s been hacked out since August last year and only the 3rd time in his life…he was a superstar, very relaxed. I think it helped that Alison’s husband Chris walked with us and Jack knows him but I couldn’t have been happier with how he went.
