The Pier

We took advantage of the lovely warm weather and meandered down to Bognor Regis for a bit.

'Great', I thought. 'Seaside photos here I come'. In the event however, I had a scant half hour on the beach while my folks wandered a bit further up the prom. The result - half a dozen photos that I'm not terribly happy with.

I tried to angle this so that the groyne posts interspersed with the pier, but it didn't quite work. I would have had to get closer to the water than I wanted to... between the tide coming in and a stiff breeze there was enough spray as it was. Still, at least the pier isn't sitting on the groyne!

We stopped off for a cream tea in Arundel on the way back, so it wasn't all bad :)
