IESE 30th Anniversary Celebrations
We had Max, Rupert and Carol for a light brunch at midday in our house. Thomas was here too of course, as he’s been staying with us. We all then headed off to the last of the official gatherings - the paella lunch in Gava, at Kauia Gava Mar, a 30 mins taxi ride outside of Bcn, by the beach. The sun shone for our brunch and we were able to enjoy the roof terrace, but the heavens opened up during the lunch. We were all under shades though, so it didn’t disturb us. More nibbles, paella and drinks.
David Carmont, who lives very close to the beach bar, had a few people back to his place after the lunch. We politely declined, as it was already evening and we were fading a bit. Not fading so much though to resist a closing drink with Rupes and Carol at a jazz place on Diagonal! Thomas left directly from David’s flat to the airport.
Until the next time! Five years to recover!
My blip is off a new bougainvillea I bought during the week in Sarria, when at the dentist. It’s on the roof terrace.
I’m sure some photos will be shared over the next few days and so I might come back and add some extras.
