Argostoli Lagoon
I caught the local bus into the capital Argostoli which arrived exactly on time and more importantly took me back on time in the early afternoon. It is even windier today, the chap who rents the apartments from his father says it’s changed direction which is a good thing. You could have fooled me because the sea is rougher than ever.
To get some respite I walked to the top of the lagoon, however the turtles were hunkering down and the only birds about were this collection. No White Heron to add to my I Spy list.
Interesting conversation with a fellow southsider from Kings Park area who was walking in completely the wrong direction for where she wanted to be.
Last day tomorrow, time has speeded up yet again. I brought my kingfisher cross stitch and I have done one tenth of one square at most.
