Tractor and birds

The tractor has been around the three fields next to us all day with roller and then a spray. 
Mr Blackbird was busy with two youngsters . One seemed to get more than the other. The greedy one is a darker brown so I wonder if that is a male.  Mrs B is back sitting on the nest in my shed so I still can't use the wheelbarrow! The other extra is a goldfinch .
