Common Crane

I took a recently widowed friend to Pensthorpe Wildlife Park today. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a few hours walking around the Park in the sunshine. There were goslings and ducklings wandering around our feet. The common crane female was sitting on her nest. The great tits were flying in and out of their nest boxes, attending to their chirruping young ones we could hear inside. 
I will be returning there and maybe joining too, it's such a peaceful place to be, take your camera too.
