Flowering hedge

I'm not sure what the shrub is that features in my main photo.  Can anyone tell me please?  It's everywhere in our village.

The extras are of a blossom tree with buttercups (I think...) in front of it and the other is of Paul taking a photo of our favourite tree.  We are trying to make the most of it while it is blooming!

We did an evening walk as I had a busy day.
