NNZ Tulip

The NNZ Tulip was officially introduced as a new tulip variety on 24 May 2016.

The bulbs were issued in 2022 to celebrate the centenary of NNZ a multinational trading company with its roots in the Netherlands. The bulbs were packaged in the company products.

The tulips are purple and according to the marketing blurb issued by NNZ the positive associations with the colour purple: Royal-Promise-Devotion-Tranquility-Dignity-Elegance-Cheerful-Long-term Co-operation-Attention-Love-Respect. So there!
