Moooodern

I do love a good historic stone statue but also fond of a more modern ( anything under 20 years must be modern....well it is when you're my age) piece of sculpture / art. These wonderful beasts are in Stenhousemuir and have some connection to McCowans Toffee. They are about 13 apparently. Thanks to this month's host. Great theme. 
My day was spent in Glasgow and unexpectedly ended up in Stenhousemuir to help my youngest gather some ingredients for muffin making ( progressing from soup) 'A' was the hero who picked me up as I walked from the train and didn't fancy being really late home but walking back etc.
