Highland cattle at Grass Point

We had a day mooching around the Craignure area thenLochdon and finally Grass Point. We saw and heard lots of birds , it was lovely to hear the cuckoo and curlew. male stonechat is my extra. I also saw a snipe in the marshy grass butit was too fast for a photo.

We'd beengiven a tip offabout a place where otters are seen but they didn't put in an appearance today.  I love to see Highland cattle and  there were some beauties at Grass Point. I've no idea how they can see where they're going with those fringes!
