One left

We had three visitors, a couple from Viet Nam who were looking into some work here, our cat sitter who is from Trinidad and our friend who moved here. They were all so interested and amazed by the lemons, so we decided to give them away, and keep the last one for ourselves. There is something quite humbling and beautiful about picking a lemon off this little tree, and being able to give it to people, and see them hold it and smell it - smiles all round. It was a good day to remember my mother’s birthday today. She would have been 84.
