Liftoff

We went back this morning to see if maybe we could catch the Royal Flycatcher with its crest displayed and although we saw both the male and the female, none of us were able to see that action let alone capture it with our cameras.  This isn’t the best shot, but nevertheless, under the conditions, I liked the way the little bit of sunlight lit up the wings.

I spent the afternoon around the Lodge grounds again shooting green parrots, Toucans, and lots of little birds that we never see at home.  After dinner and when it was dark, we had the opportunity to shoot bats.  Always an interesting experience.  I have yet to review and evaluate those shots.
