St Patricks Basilica

This church was built in 1908–1909, with the tower added in 1912. It is an Italianate-Romanesque style with an arcaded portico and the tower is impressively louvred.
I always admire this impressive church when driving into Waimate.  Today, Doug and I were in Waimate for physio, I decided to photograph it for my blip.  As the photo shows a cloudless sky although the air was chilled.  Frosty this morning.
