Starling

No-one's favourite garden bird.......but maybe they should be?  When the sun shines on them at a certain angle their plumage is quite stunning.  Not a great pic as they always seem to sit in amongst the branches but this pic is probably the best of the hint of iridescence in his feathers.

It never ceases to amaze me how getting just one job from a long list done somehow makes the list heaps shorter and way less daunting.  For me, that one job is often the lawn.  The mow today certainly lifted a fog from my head - feel-good vibes all round :D
